Synopsis: After an unplanned meeting at an Atlanta recording studio, I forged a strong relationship and partnership with Bronx, NY native Jory L. Rogers, a veteran hip-hop artist known as "Lord Divine". Raised in what's known as the most dangerous housing projects in New York--BRONX RIVER PROJECTS--he fell victim to the drug game, eventually leading him long prison terms. After deciding to turn his life around and begin his journey into music, he formed an independent record label inspired by his new mindset, called 5P Records, Inc. His quest to motivate young people from similar backgrounds while building a successful career in music serves as inspiration for the label name's meaning: (P)ROPER (P)REPARATION (P)REVENTS (P)OOR (P)ERFORMANCE. The rest, as he says, is "history in the making."
